I am excited to be compiling this list of personal finance books for millennials SPECIFICALLY by POC authors.

When I started wanting to learn more about personal finance, my best friend and I went to our local bookstore. We noticed, as many of you know, that most of the books in the personal finance world are written by white people, and most of those books are written by white, older, men. We wanted a book we could relate to!

We were having trouble finding books that were speaking to us. Millennials. The ones who acknowledge that we have student debt, or have difficulty buying a home, or are just plain trying to learn about how to manage their financial mess because nobody else has taught them.

I hope you can find a book or 3 on this list that is helpful to you on your personal finance journey, whether you’re a newbie or farther along.

I will continue to add to this list as I come across other books and hope someday that it’s miles long.
